I have professional teaching experience dating back to 2016, including classroom teaching and international online tutoring. I have worked with learners in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and other international educational settings, supporting different age groups, abilities and academic goals.

My teaching experience covers English Language, English Literature, Mathematics and Science, including Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I am familiar with the UK National Curriculum, AQA and Edexcel GCSE specifications, IGCSE, 11+ entrance preparation, Northern Ireland's SEAG examinations and international school learning expectations.

In English, I support students with grammar, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, creative and analytical writing, pronunciation, spoken fluency and examination techniques. I also teach adult English learners who want to communicate more confidently in everyday and professional situations.

In Mathematics and Science, I simplify challenging concepts through clear explanations, worked examples, visual representations and practical applications.

My teaching methodology is personalised, interactive and progress-focused. I begin by understanding each learner's current ability, identifying knowledge gaps and establishing achievable learning goals. During lessons, I use guided practice, questioning, real-life examples, exam-style exercises and regular feedback to strengthen understanding.

I encourage students to explain their reasoning rather than simply memorise answers. I also adapt my teaching pace and approach to suit individual learning styles, providing additional support when necessary and increasing the challenge as confidence develops.

My ultimate goal is to develop independent learners who understand what they are studying, feel confident asking questions and can apply their knowledge successfully beyond the classroom.
