Hi! My name is Aroma, and I’m a Cancer Biology undergraduate student at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. I’m passionate about science, psychology, and helping students build confidence in their learning. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple ideas and supporting students as they grow academically.

I currently work as a peer tutor through UAB’s VMASC program, providing one-on-one support in math and psychology. I am also Level I certified through the College Reading and Learning Association International Tutor Training Program. My teaching approach is patient and personalized, I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style, focus on understanding rather than memorization, and use step-by-step explanations to build confidence and critical thinking skills.
