A fun and easy-going math tutor with 2 years of experience

Hello, my name is Shulammite and I have been Tutoring for a little over 2 years now. I am from Lagos, Nigeria and am passionate about numbers, which birthed my love for Mathematics.


In my spare time, I like to solve Mathematical equations and learn a language. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, listening to music, as well as cooking a variety of food.

I have been a Maths Tutor for 2 years. I have no certifications related to education, but my passion for numbers and solving equations fuels my determination to keep learning and improving my knowledge. I am adept in learning style assessments and Individualized Lesson Plans for students of all grades. I am very punctual, creative, and reliable, which helps to keep the students engaged. I am also very patient and I always treat students with respect and a friendly attitude.


I tutored Year 9 and Grade 6 students, and from this experience, I gained a lot of valuable insight and knowledge into a successful role as a Math Tutor. Watching my students grow in their knowledge and understanding of Mathematical equations and expressions made me realize the need for my expertise and lessons.


My teaching focuses on breaking down seemingly difficult Mathematical problems into simpler explanations using illustrations and examples. I also assist students with topics that they don't understand and offer assistance where necessary.


Many of my students have achieved success with their Math solving skills. Students of my courses have continued their studies or achieved academic success.
